For use with the new Model 7890B Gas Chromatograph coupled to an Agilent 5977A EI Mass Spectrometer or Agilent 7000B Triple Quad Mass Spectrometer, this new module uses EPC flow control to bleed conditioning gas into the MSD during the analysis. This concurrent flow of conditioning gas with the analytical carrier enhances analytical performance and reduces the frequency of source maintenance. Analysts can also use the module to schedule post run source cleaning.
